DONATE Via Give2Charity

Making a credit card donation through our Give2Charity secure server is fast and easy. Give2Charity accepts MasterCard, VISA and American Express. With the Give2Charity credit card processing service, no fees are taken on your VISA or MasterCard donation. A low fee of 2.85% is deducted from American Express donations.

Acknowledgments for donations made through Give2Charity are sent out at the beginning of each month. Click the button below to make a donation.

Note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. "GIVE2CHARITY" is the name that will appear on your credit card statement, not AEF/AIDS EMERGENCY FUND. Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!

Heart of Gold

Heart of Gold is a new donor program designed to create a predictable, stable funding source for the agency. Built exclusively on monthly gifts from our most dedicated supporters, the program will assist AEF in continuing to provide a safety net for low-income San Franciscans battling HIV/AIDS.

Donate your vehicle, furniture
or household items

We have an arrangement with Charitable Auto Resources (CARS) to process our vehicle donations (cars, trucks, boats, motor homes, or motorcycles). CARS arranges a free vehicle pickup, handles all the DMV issues, sells the vehicle at auction, and distributes the net proceeds to AIDS Emergency Fund.

By donating, you’ll avoid the headache of selling a used vehicle, help support AEF, and receive a receipt entitling you to a tax deduction. When you’re ready to donate, or want to learn more, simply contact CARS at 877-386-3848 or go to the CARS donation page by pushing this button.

When you donate to Community Thrift Store (623 Valencia Street), you can choose AIDS Emergency Fund (#143) to receive the proceeds from the sale of furniture, clothing or household items. Community Thrift disburses funds to AEF, minus operation costs, on a quarterly basis. Whether you are moving or doing your annual spring cleaning, Community Thrift can put your unwanted items to good use! And, of course, you can buy what you need for your new place. 415.861.4910
